At long last after many false dawns, numerous consultants mostly saying there's nothing wrong with you a diagnosis - From Louise Coote - Its lupus. For my wife its a major relief - at least she knows what it is - even if it is not the best outcome.

Thanks to all those who have supported / advised my wife on this forum. Lip Biopsy on thursday to determine sjogrens which is highly likely.

To all those who have been caught up in months/ years of negative tests - persist - the truth will prevail.

YAY Jimbo! Hug for your wife. It shouldn’t be a matter of rejoicing of course - I should be commiserating. But in our crazy, rare world it really is so great to get a proper diagnosis!! X

I am so pleased for you. I know this sounds weird but being told bad news after fighting for a diagnosis is heart warming. No w you can concentrate on getting the right medication. Good luck.

Fabulous that you’ve now got a confirmed diagnosis! This means you’ll get monitored properly, you’ll get all the tests required and medication that will not only stop the illness progressing but will make you feel significantly better 😃. You’ll also stop having to ‘proove’ that there is something wrong with you to medics and all sorts of little things will suddenly make sense.

I found my diagnosis in February, after 4 years of frustrations, a huge relief! I’m sure life will be much easier now for you and your wife and I wish you both a very enjoyable Christmas x
