Ten weeks off methatrexate

Hi all well it’s been a bit of a rocky road with recovery from annul fistula surgery due to this I’ve been taken off methatrexate I was beginning to wonder if it was doing anything well the short answer is yes it took about 6 weeks for it to get out my system fist I started to get the fatigue back now I’ve got the jelly legs and the migraine back luckily the migraine comes and go and only last for about 5/10 minuets usually on the up side. The second hole in my bum is healing very well still have the drain fitted and probably will have for anuther 3 months sorry for rambling been on the tramadol ps don’t feal bad if you have a cheeky giggle at my bum it’s the delt with the indignity of it 😷😂

Hello ianr,

Like you say, a rocky road indeed. Hope you can find a way of dealing with the fallout from coming off methotrexate. My universal panacea for localised pain, and migraines in particular, is ice, but I know it doesn't work for everyone. Hope the healing continues x
