Hi everyone, I’ve been off for a while, so I’m sorry, I’ll have to do a bit of catching up.
I had my knee op and I’m still off work. I don’t think my line manager ‘gets it’ at all. I spoke with him yesterday and he asked why I was still off 7 wks after the op. I said I thought my fitness to work very made it quite clear! The Physio has suggested I take more time, so my GP has given 11/12/17 as my return date for now. My manager asked if I had had complications that were keeping me off for so long, not “how are you?” Or “we’ve been missing you” or “get well soon”, or “has you Lupus impacted on your recovery?”.
Anyway, I am make no steady progress. The recent cold snap however gave me some (what I am fairly sure was) Raynauds. Today I have had three toe nails peel off. I think I have a few in the process too!
Have any of you randomly lost toe nails? Is this a Lupussy thing or some other cause? Despite meticulous skill n care ( I have peripheral neuropathy so have to be ultra careful with my feet) I have deep fissures runners bag across my heals. They bleed and surrounding skin peels. If I had full sensation they look like they should be very painful. I worry that I will get an infection and not know it.
Have any of you got useful tips?
Regards to you all. I’m sorry I’ve not been here fore any of you recently.
