Tired Today

Feeling tired today, luckily I haven't had many episodes of fatigue since diagnosed. Lupus does teach you that having sufficient rest and sleep is very important. Also the food we eat has such an impact on our well being. Today I recognise I am a bit tired and so I can adjust how much rest I have to make sure it doesn't go into fatigue. Mind you I did run twice over the weekend, a 5k run on Saturday and the 4 miler on Sunday.Take care of yourself, get enough rest and have a good diet and if feeling down talk to family, friends or share your feeling on this site.

Nice to see, thank you for sharing your positivity. One thing a rheumatologist told me when first diagnosed was "keep fit but rest when your body is telling you to." Good advice, not been easy to follow but we learn as we go along
