Bladder wetness or sweat wetness? Sorry if that's a bit indelicate but I'm not sure which you mean x

Bladder but I don't feel it until I get up and find my underwear is wet. Really odd.

I do get night sweats where I wake up soaked head to toe but not had that in a while.

I suffer this so I place a towel over the sheet to help with bodily perspiration and place a panty liner in underwear for the other leakage! (Sorry guys) worth a try I think 😉👍

i don't have a clue why this is happening and will mention when I go to see the g.p. this week hopefully. I don't feel anything until I get up and stand up. I can then feel the soaking wetness. it's not sweat, I do know that much.

I often find that my bladder control is weak when I'm having a flare or really fatigued. Not just after coughing/sneezing but also when I roll over in bed to get up, even though I'm not aware of needing to dash to the loo. Normally ok.

That's how it is. I am not bursting for the loo or anything but when I move to get up out of bed, my underwear is wet.

Worth asking your GP for a referral to your local incontinence service, I saw a lovely specialist nurse who checked my sample for a UTI etc, scanned my bladder to make sure it was emptying properly & gave me lots of good advice about pelvic floor exercises & made sure I could do them correctly. I do the exercises & I'm generally ok but there's very little control when I'm having a flare, when I was in hospital recently on IV antibiotics & fluids & my CRP had gone up to 269, I had to have a commode next to my bed & even then it was touch & go whether I got there in time 😳

I too have had bad night sweats, 2-3 shirts a night then chills. I also have had bladder leakage problems, a couple nights in a row then not for a couple of months. I was recently diagnosed with a prolapse bladder which is the cause. Still no real cause behind the horrible night sweats and teeth chattering chills.

I get night sweats. have a bout of them then they stop.it is something you get with lupus. I get very cold quickly when the temp drops as it has now. took a hot water bottle to bed last night lol. I will mention the bladder problem when rheumy nurse gets back to me as I missed the call yesterday after waiting all day. I had to go to bad as I was so cold, tired and felt awful. thanks. x
