Hi.
I've been looking into a lot of natural products. Does anyone take tumeric tablets or any other natural products to help with inflammation.
Know we have to be careful what we take.
Thanks

Hi If you search Facebook you will find a big uk group for turmeric x
I've see lots of positive feedback about 'gold paste' which I believe is the same thing. I've never considered it for myself as I can't stand spices of any description - mine is a very bland existence!
Just a word of caution if you are on any blood thinning medications, you should not take Tumeric, it magnifies the effect of anti-clotting medications.
Hey Jo, I've been advised to take turmeric too by my acupuncturist - being Indian myself turmeric has always been present in my diet - but I gotta say these tablets (1000mg) I'm finding hard to digest. However I guess I shouldn't be a wimp!!
I am looking into some more herbals and plant medicines at the moment so if I learn anything new I will share with you xx
Oh also I have started taking probiotics - you? Xx
Thank you everyone for your replies.
I have a really sensitive stomach probably due to all the medication, I have been thinking that they might upset my tummy. I have a pretty plain diet too with not a lot of spices.
I did take probiotics at one point but stopped.
Have heard so many people having benefits from tumeric, will ask the hospital and see what they say and may give them a go.
I take a few alternative meds but have them all checked against what drugs I take. I mix Turmeric with water to make a paste. Go to Turmeric4Health website for lots of advice.
I feel that would make me chunder. Ugh
