Hi there,

I am wondering if anyone had experienced any benefits of using apple cider vinegar. I have lupus and keen to try natural remedies over anti inflammatory tablets if I can. I also take Aloe Vera drinking gel.

Thank you x

We always have a bottle of organic ACV with the mother. I go through periods when I dilute it with water and take it before meals but it can also be used in salad dressings so it becomes part of the meal. I have used it mainly to help cut acid reflux. But what I have found even more useful is managing to identify the foods that are more likely to cause reflux and using them less often.

I love the stuff. I have it everyday. 10mls in a mug of boiling water with a teaspoon of honey. It helps my digestion and general health which is pretty rubbish at the moment unfortunately. I really notice it if I go without it.

Make sure you get some with The Mother.

I also take ACV with mother for acid reflux. Not sure it helps though. I drink it in hot water with fresh lemon juice and honey every morning. I’ve noticed I don’t get sick with cold or flu since doing this several years. Maybe the vitamin C in lemons? My allergies don’t bother me as much and I think it’s the local honey. My doctor thinks I’m nuts!! 😁 it can’t hurt to try!!

Doctors are not trained in nutrition. If big pharma doesn't make it, it's witchcraft 😀

My Grandfather, a wonderful man did this. He started drinking it when he was 50yrs old as he was told that he had a bad heart and chest and wouldn't live until his next birthday. He passed away aged 97 with all his faculties after an illness lasting 2 weeks. He put his health and age entirely down to "honeygar" as he called it.

I have been seeing posts on the internet of something they call fire cider. It takes about a month to make so maybe a bit late for this year but might make a batch next year.

Look it up. Looks powerful before tasting any 😀

Apple cider vinegar is great, but should be labeled ‘unfiltered’ to get best benefits. I’ve used it to rinse my hair with for years. Look it up online. Drs don’t know about things they aren’t schooled on or have no experience with. Just be wise and careful in all things. Do the research yourself👋👍
