This is a horrid symptom in an illness with so many horrid symptoms- only if you have auto immune problems can you understand that so many make you feel tormented ! My remedies for this and the aches and pains - I have a cotton sheet between the duvet and me, (you can throw off duvet) I have a very light tog duvet (get 2 singles if you share a bed) and I recently heard of a Cool pillow for sale supposed to work. I put Deep Freeze gel on my feet and legs and especially around my aching joints. It does help - it lives up to its name. In most supermarkets at the joint pain section. Best of luck

What medications are you taking? I was having the same problem almost every night. I got chills and then would break out in a sweat and this would go on all night. My rheumy said that it wasn't from the lupus but because if other symptoms he finally changed my medication and now I've only had it happen 2 times in the past month and it was mild. Nothing like before. I believe my rheumy is wrong and that the chills and night sweats are from the lupus and I think the medications we take also contribute to it and that's why we get it so bad and so often. I can sympathize with you. It's awful and very frustrating.
