No. Tonsillitis is inflammation in the tonsils. Tonsil stones are calcium deposits that form in the tonsils.

No completely different things. Google and Google Images will help. Tonsillitis is an infection of your tonsils. They become red and inflamed. Sometimes you can see the puss. It makes us painful to swallow and eat. But this is not the same as tonsil stones.

No, tonsillitis is not the same as salivary gland (tonsil) stones.
