I really don't know what to do. I went for an assessment for my ESA. I have aches and pains nearly all the time due to lupus and fever on and off. I can't travel far due to learning disability not knowing ways. I have severe osteoporosis and I am very prone to infections. Yes I do daily tasks when I feel well. They just cared that I can lift 1 pint of milk. They did not take all this into account and placed me in a work related activity group and when I asked for a Marley reconsideration they said because I can lift 1 pint of milk I need to be in a work related group. I got to go through. The appealing process again. My mum used to received higher rate mobility allowance due to neuropathy in her feet. After her pip interview they stopped her pip completely and due to so much stress the doctors said she could go into heart failure and when she told them that they said you are still ok now though. I don't know what to make of this. They are making me feel guilty that I'm not working. There are days when I don't feel well at all and can't even do anything. When I have aches and pains I can't do things. I try to force myself but I struggle.

Hi puneet
It's really cruel what they are doing to people's lives and they really don't care!. Have you got the help of dial or Citizens Advice for your ESA appeal and for your mum's pip?. Do hope you get it overturned as being in that group can be stressful. X
I have not done that yet but I have to phone the tribunal first and my mum just wrote her letter of mandatory reconsideration and after the reply of her letter she can appeal. I do hope so as it's very stressful. I will keep you posted.
I will do that thanks.
You can also call your local council and ask for a social worker who deals with adults with learning disability. Also ask for the person at the job centre plus who deals with learning disability. They will help you to get the right benefit.
If you have any problems you can get in touch with the welfare rights officer (at your local council) who will accompany you to any tribunal regarding benefits. They will also help you to fill out your forms.
All the best
