Lupus,sijus probs and itch

Waken at this time of morning,itch driving me nuts,got strong antihistimin off doc and cream,no relief,anyone else experience this? Go for another sinus op to ninewells dundee on 8th,i will get biopsy taken as well when im asleep to see if something else going on as well as lupus.

I get this intense itching when in a lupus flare. Antihistamine doesn't help because it is not an allergy its due to flaring of lupus. U need to see your rhumy about this as u could be sustaining damage to your organs if u r in a flare which is not being controlled properly. I thought my itching was due to an allergy because my blood works was showing ok and now now i have advanced lung disease because my symptoms were

It's neuropathic. I take gabapentin for the neuropathic symptoms - burning, itching skin. pins and needles tingling. etc.

HI JEFFSCOTT69 I RALLY SYMPATHISE WITH YOU. HAD LUPUS SINCE MY TWENTIES & IT STARTED WITH ITCHING SCALP & HAIR LOSS ALSO ITCHING RASH ON MY BACK. IT SETTLED DOWN FOR YEARS THEN STARTED AGAIN 4 YEARS AGO. I COULD SCRATCH THE SKIN OFF MY SCALP. HAVE TRIED ALMOST EVERYTHING BUT NOTHING WORKS. I REALLY HOPE YOU FIND SOMETHING TO EASE THE ITCHING.
