PIP update

I'm. Coming to the end of my PIP journey, having had my assessment today. It really wasn't too bad at all. The lady who assessed me was really nice and quite funny. I have no idea about possible outcomes but I hope that by posting this, it may reduce anxiety levels of those of you awaiting assessment. Lessons learned to date - avoid Benefits to Work website and any other that wants you to pay. I had help from my local council. The lady who came to my home was very efficient and very reassuring. I expect to hear the result at the end of January.

Your experience is similar to mine - a young women from Welfare Rights at the council filled the form in. My assessor was very professional. I got my PIP, though the full experience is incredibly stressful.
