Hi I just wondered if this rash looks anything like a lupus rash. Been to see my GP who thought it looked fungal. Its quite dry.
Suffer from Graves disease and vitiligo so was wondering if my body wants give me the gift of a third autoimmune disease!!
Had a quick look at symptoms and I suffer from fatigue, weakness, weight gain, dry eyes and swollen glands but I have just put these symptoms down to graves.

It could easily be, from my experience rashes come and go. When I first started with lupus it was a rash on my head which went to my neck, body and both arms. I now have it mainly on my left arm and chest though lately it seems to be attacking my joints particularly legs as my knees have gone a bright pink. I would advice you see your doctor who will put you in touch with a rheumatologist. From my experience they then want to do a large amount of punch biopsies which seems to be the only way they diagnose lupus. Good luck.
We are not medically trained here so I'm afraid we couldn't say if this rash is caused by lupus or not. If you are concerned that you may have lupus, could you ask your GP to refer you to a rheumatologist to be investigated?
We do have a booklet about skin involvement in lupus which may be of interest to you. You can read and download it at lupusuk.org.uk/wp-content/u...
Also, if you would like more information about lupus and how it is diagnosed, we have a free info pack which you can request or download from our website at lupusuk.org.uk/request-info...
