Very sensitive skin

Hi all

About ten days ago my skin down the neck was like having sun burn without being in any sun!

Super tender to touch, it's now traveled down on my right side , to my chest and thigh.

The thigh is so painful I can't hardly walk and best to be in just boxer shorts.

Which is not good.

Anyone else suffering from this. And any ideas to relief

I can't help you, I have lupus but haven't had this rash. I wish you the very best of outcomes and that someone here will be able to help you with a very good bit of advice.

I've had trouble with sensitive skin but yours does sound to be more on the painful side, especially if it's hurting you to walk.

Have you been to the doctors at all ? Or are you just seeing how it goes.

What I've been using recently is a vitamin E gel which I got from QVC from their SBC beauty range. But I've since found it on eBay and you can get 2 bottles of 500ml for £20.

I'm not saying this will help as I'm not a doctor but if you put this in the fridge it would be cooling for your skin and might give you some relief. Especially if your skin is dehydrated and dry.

I hope you get yourself sorted out and go to the doctors if you get any worse.

Xxx

Dear Matt7235, this sounds like nerve involvement as well. Have you had this or any burning before? Is there any sign of a rash, or inflammation ... it also sounds a little like pre- shingle pain. Have you been to your GP, if it is shingles you can get something to alleviate full blown shingles. You really need to let the doctor see the route of the pain before they can diagnose it. Have you hurt your neck? It sounds more like nerve pain than localised skin pain. I do hope you can find the reason and have treatment accordingly. Very Best Wishes Pixiewixie. Do let us know how you are.
