I kind of asked a similar question a while ago but am specifically interested to know if those diagnosed with sjorgens suffer from a random wheeze? On inhale or exhale..
I'm wondering if the dryness irritates the passageways so to speak to cause a wheeze in the lungs or throat?
Thanks

I sometimes have a wheeze on inhaling with a chesty cough but when the GP listens it's clear. I'm at the moment being referred to see if my throat has become restricted because I have a feeling at the back of the throat that there's something stuck there ( not cancer) it's either phelm or food. So not sure if this is what is causing the wheeze and cough.
That's exactly what I get! Inhale wheeze sometimes from throat and sometimes lung area sometimes from stomach (?!). Random times of day. When GP has listened mostly say clear - can't hear anything. But then when I do wheeze its audible to someone next to me... Had two X-rays in last year both clear. Camera/throat - told just inflamed/red. And allergies/asthma/COPD tests - clear. So only thing I think is its dryness and inflammation/irritation bronchial tubes/oesophagus/throat?? I get a restricted sensation in my throat too.. Let me know how you get on. Thanks for reply.
