Pain relief...

After being diagnosed with Lichen Plans, Scarring Alopecia and bloods showing positive for Lupus, my dermatologist prescribed  Hydroxychloroquine 200mg and my GP prescribed Citalopram 20mg. After 10 weeks my stiffness has gone and I feel the best I have felt for years, although I still have a rash and my hair is still falling out. Because I felt very well I did some grocery shopping and lifted the bags into my car......big mistake! I have pulled the muscles in my lower back and have gone into spasms so now having to rest. My GP has prescribed Tramadol 50mg and Naproxen 500mg with Omeprazole if I start to feel sick. I'm taking the Tramadol to help with pain, feel unsure about Naproxen....can anyone help..

I was given Naproxen but had to stop taking it as I felt I was having a heart attack this is one of the side affects so I stopped taking it I am now in Gabepentin

Well everyone's bodies are different and I am nowhere near DR to give advice. but I can share my personal experience with naproxen. It also in the warnings, for some reason when I have a "flare up" I get ulcers everywhere internally. So When I took any NSAID or asprin it made me have bleeding ulcers and I still have healing to do .Had a inch by 3 1/4 inch sized one it was bleeding and I got very ill.It will take months to heal.I do also take tramadol the genaric to ultram for pain and it does help some.Hope this helps.I would say if your stomach starts hurting ask your doctor before disscontinuing any medications of course. And everyone is different it may not effect you in this way.Hope this helps a bit. Also will pray you go into remission.
