Pain in Left side

Hi Guys, 

I have a really bad pain in my left side when I sit down, it feels like a constant stitch. It will only go away if a stand o, or if a push my fist into my side where the pain is. Does anyone have any idea what it could be?

If its in your ribs it may be costochondria, my pain eases when I stand or press on it.

So you suffer with IBS? I too have a constant pain in my left side but I put it down to my spasm in my bowel. Hugs😊
