Does your rash come and go?

In the last couple of weeks, a rash has appeared on my face, neck and chest, a number of times. It's usually the evenings and only there for a couple of hours. I've had it on my chest and neck for years but never paid much attention to it as it goes away and doesn't cause me any problems but the face one is new and feels like sunburn.

Are you aware of anything that could be triggering a flare of this rash? Perhaps you are getting exposed to sunlight or to fluorescent lighting during the daytime? It could also possibly be triggered by stress.

I have the same symptoms as you. On my face, cheeks forhead and nose. Starts in the early evening and can be exacerbated by sunlight , coffee or alcohol. I have not been diagnosed with lupus but I am on hydroxychloraquine and methotrexate for arthritis my test for lupus were negative My Dermatologist is still investigating it she said it was erythema a form of rosacea We have tried various treatments to no avail I'll keep you posted. I still feel it is related to an undiagnosed auto immune conditions

Yes, I get a rash all over. It seems to be a good barometer of how well I am. When my joints flare, my skin does too. And if I come down with a chest/throat infection or bad cold.
