Can anyone help me please?

I have had some blood test results from Guys Hospital but one of them has left me stumped.

The Hep2 ANA results States "ToConfr"..... What does this mean?

The ANA titre was 1/40 speckled (has previously been much higher)

Does anyone know?

Thanks.

Hi as far as I know HEp 2 ANA is the test looking at antinuclear antibodies differing between normal and rheumatic people. The titre bit is how many times the technition dilutes the plasma sample to become free of antibodies. The other bit may be to confirm. But can't be sure. Best to ask.
