Diagnosed with SLE in November 2014. Some problems with medication, particularly when reducing amount of steroids to zero as this resulted in chronic adrenal fatigue. Fed up with feeling so tired a lot of the time. live in the Barnton/Cramond area of Edinburgh.

Hi, the same happened me when reducing steroids. My consultant did a synacthen test which showed my body no longer producing cortisone, at this stage I was down to 3mg pred so she immediately put them up to 5mg. I will never be able to get off them and must increase them if ill or in an accident or anything like that. I was disappointed as I had worked so hard trying to reduce them but now I feel so much better in every way especially with the fatigue I can actually go a whole day without falling asleep!

Is it just the fatigue? Or do you have overall feeling of being unwell? Have you ever had adrenal fatigue before?

Mainly fatigue with a moderate collection of aches and pains. Have a fairly constant pain behind my left eyeball - a CT scan should nothing so I am having various tests later this week.. ever had adrenal fatigue before.

Saw the optician on29th August, happily nothing of concern was found. Going to try some new glasses as the pain behind my left eye could be as simple as eye strain. Many thanks Aunt Tea for your interest and I hope this finds you OK.
