Lupus Awareness and Fundraising at Bannatynes - Update.

Many thanks to all of you who wished me luck with the stall I had at Bannatynes with books, CDs, DVDs and crafts. All the crafts sold quickly and members of the club kept bringing in more books so the manager kept the stall going for a full 2 weeks. Today I collected the last donations which my hubby then set about counting together with what had been collected already. We were pleasantly surprised to find a staggering £162.73 has been collected.😃

The manager and her staff couldn’t have been more supportive and helpful throughout the whole event and the members of course have been generous with their donations of books and money.👍🏻👍🏻

Most of the leaflets and bookmarks left to raise awareness were taken so the display has been successful in raising awareness too.👏🏻👏🏻 As well as that the manager is permanently leaving a poster of the areas of the body that can be attacked/affected by Lupus in the staff room.

So thanks again for all your support and best wishes.😘😘 I’m so pleased to be able to report its success. 🥰
