Lupus and APS

Hi,

I suffer from both Lupus and APS. I have been suffering with the condition since I gave birth to a healthy boy, but was diagnosed a year and a half. I would like to get in touch with someone who are suffering with both conditions.

I suffer with both, diagnosed about three years ago. Was a real shock. I only take aspirin for aps and still trying to find a med that works for me for lupus.

Hi. I also have lupus and APS. Diagnosed 22 years ago after birth of second child. Take aspirin 150mg daily for aps and managed lupus for 20years with hydroxychloroquine and NSAIS. Still take hydroxychloroquine but not the nsais due to gastric irritation. Now take methotrxate and have recently had Rituximab infusion.

I also suffer from both. APS since a blood clot in 2001 managed by Warfarin and lupus since 2003 after falling ill managed by hydroxychloroquine.

Morning have you looked at the Hughes syndrome ( APS ) here on healthunlocked several people on it have lupus too

Hi, I live with SLE & APS as well as other conditions. The APS was diagnosed 2yrs ago when I developed a bloodclot in one of my index fingers (eventually lost 1/3 of my finger) - Extreme Rayneuds caused bloodclot. I was diagnosed with SLE over 10yrs ago but since 2013 SLE became active so now I take Mycophenalate, Predisnole & Warfarin (for APS) as well as other meds to help me digest them.
