I feel a lot better in myself, 2 weeks was able to walk better however my right foot seems to be painfull at the moment.

Looks like it had an exposed vessel. ...! Not 100% sure neither was the nurse. Ulcers have slightly decreased in size.

Just taking antibiotics for the ulcer that is giving probs at the mo to see if that helps

Good news!

Am very glad of this update: thanks

Sorry, though, that the antibiotic-taking is giving probs. What probs are you having? Am interested partly cause I've spent a lifetime taking various types of antibiotic, some high dose & long term. Plus, as I understand it, I'm a candidate for leg & foot ulcers....plus have had raynauds giving my legs & feet a lot of bad trouble all my life (in my 40s-50s raynauds became simultaneous with erythromelalgia)...and could well be given iloprost eventually...

Amazing to have an embarrassing bodies guy here on our forum...just checked out your link: wow: great that you could raise the profile of lupus that way...must've been an 'interesting' experience.....but I wish lupus etc weren't giving you such a hard time...

Thanks barnClown. Taking flucloxacillin at the mo as one of my ulcers is infected.

Unfortunately will get prone to infections. I will keep you updated on progress. At the moment I'm not that mobile just hope the antibiotics work.

Illprost is used to treat raynauds too.

I know flucloxacillin well (500mg 5x per day for 5 months treating osteomyelitis of my upper jaw several years ago). I found it not the easiest antibiotic to tolerate....I even had to dream up special tricks just to make swallowing the caps possible (they tasted terrible, to me). But, in my case, it seemed to be very effective. I hope you're managing ok.
