The Enfield Lupus Group's Monthly Meeting is this Saturday, 8th November 2014.
Time: 1:30pm-3:30pm
Location: The Foyer, 279-281 Fore Street, Edmonton, N9 0TB
We meet every 2nd Saturday of every month, to chat, catch-up and socialise with each other. We try to sign post our members to external agencies that maybe able to assist them with some Lupus and/or Disability related issues.
BUT, above all, we are there to offer a listening ear to support one another, as best we can, over a cup of tea and a sandwich!
Please feel free to come along, if your not able to get there for 'dead-on' 1:30pm, please do not let that put you off coming its not a problem; WE more than anyone else know how difficult it can be to get out of bed, sometimes.
If you you require further information about the group, please send an email to:
thelupusgroup@hotmail.com We're also on Facebook, look for the Enfield Lupus Group, if you wish to look us up on there.
We look forward to meeting you!
Best Wishes & Great Health,
The Enfield Lupus Group

Hi MonnyPenny, last month was my first time of attending this group (previously I had been working on Sats, but now unfortunately I am to ill to do that at present)....BUT I want to say to anyone that is in the area 'What a lovely group!!'.......I really enjoyed that first meeting and was made to feel so welcome, although there was serious talk about Lupus-there was also lots of laughter!!! I came away feeling not quite so alone or isolated.
So if you are in the Enfield or surrounding areas why not come along?.....I am most definitely going to try and be there this Saturday!
Hi bam1993...Im so pleased you felt that way! And that you have given me your feedback, I will relay it to the rest of the ladies! We may not get it right all the time, so we welcome all feedback, but Im happy on this occasion this was the case.
I hope you can make it on Saturday, there will be a few items on the agenda, including the introduction of Skype to our meetings. As Winter is approaching, I feel it could be a well-needed resource so people that are stuck in doors can still participate with us!
Hope to see you Saturday...and wrap up, as the weather has taken a turn for the worse, it seems!
