Hi,

Are you saying that you tested positive for Antiphospholipid Syndrome (lupus anticoagulant) but the other antibody tests were negative?

Do you currently have a diagnosis?

Hello, i have been told slight abnormality of lupus anticoags, had repeat last week and get results Next week. No diagnosis as yet. Iv had multiple PE's both lungs persistent blood and protein in urine and slightly raised IgA.

Feel dreadful all the time and resigned from work which is a very sensitive subject as i loved my job.

Hopefully when you get the results back from the repeat test you will get an answer. In the mean time, would you like me to send you one of our free information packs about lupus? It has a booklet about how lupus is diagnosed with some details of the blood tests involved. Just send me a private message or email paul@lupusuk.org.uk with your name and address.

Hi Howsaboutit

Sorry to read of your health problems and difficulties getting a diagnosis.

Just wanted to say if your struggling financially and haven't thought of it, you could go to your local Citizens Advice Bureau who will see what help you could get and will help you fill in the claim forms. They have to be done in a certain way to maximise success chances!. Good luck for your Lupus Coag test result. Let us know how you get on.X
