Hello, Does anyone know of a consultant rheumatologist in the York, Leeds, Hull area who believes and treats seronegative lupus. Thanks.
seronegative lupus consultant: Hello, Does anyone... - LUPUS UK
seronegative lupus consultant
I Don't know about the seronegative bit but I have seen a rheumy in Leeds and 2 in York one not so good and the one I am currently under.
My Consultant in Hull is Dr Bagley - she is brilliant and holds Just Lupus clinics on a Tuesday at Hull Royal - she studied Lupus at St.Thomas's in London so is excellent knows everything - don't know if she covers your problem but worth an ask,
Hello Hullsue
Many thanks for that info. I've recently been to an immunologist at Castle Hill Hull who yet again dismissed my symptoms and said he would send me to a chronic fatigue clinic!! All my tests were negative apart from cd4 lymphopenia which I have had since 1996.
I am seeing my doctor the first week in September (who by the way is fully supportive and has dismissed suggestions of fibro and chronic fatigue) and I want to go with as much info as possible.
The one thing that keeps me going is that my doctor put me on hydroxy and it has helped reduce the pain and also I no longer get mouth and nose ulcers. I still get bad fatigue but not sure if it helps with that. As far as I know hydroxy is not a treatment for chronic fatigue?
I suppose I just need to be persistant.
Sarah xx
