Does anyone get bloodshot eyes?
From time to time I wake up with one eye bloodshot. It doesn't hurt and will last for a few days.

I don't. You need to gp flag this to your doctor, it is due to high pressure in your eye, he/she will need to check why you have it every so often.

I get bloodshot eye from time to time exactly as you describe. I think it's to do with inflammation of blood vessels. It's happened on my eyelid suddenly. I have told my Rheumy who just went quiet so not sure about it. Have you asked your Consultant?. All the bestX
I get the same my eye looked like it was going to burst lol but I went to my local a&e they said that blood vessels can cause it and to keep an eye on it and tell rheumy
My eyes are constantly blood shot and have been since I was a child. It is linked with sicca/secondary sjorgens but you should get your GP to check it when it happens.
