Is it on their website? motability.co.uk/
The change for higher rate DLA/PIP mobility for comfortable walking distance has been reduced from 50M to 20M.
thank you all This was a further note by one of the agencies concerned and was more detailed than that of motability
Hi notoverthehill
Try the Government website under benefits gov.uk or the Citizens Advice Website.
Will have more info.
Thank you a[l for the information. There was a notification of who will qualify for higher rate motablity where changes are being made to the fact that claimants will need to be supported ie Using a stick or crutch or requiring a wheelchair,or unable to walk at all without these supports to be able to claim motability at the higher rate.Just cannot find the link that led to this information as dir gov only gives a broad outline with no information as to how your motability needs are.to claim.
There was also a mention of the fact that people with skeletal mobility may be affected .Think as I have searched and cannot find it. I am beginning to think I have imagined the article. .
