DWP qualification for motability Higher rate changes from Jan 2014

A few days ago I saw a posting for the new qualification changes for Motabbility Higher rate and now cannot find it has anyone kept a note of the changes as they are earth shattering and would be grateful of a copy of same

The change for higher rate DLA/PIP mobility for comfortable walking distance has been reduced from 50M to 20M.

Thank you a[l for the information.There was a notification of who will qualify for higher rate motablity where changes are being made to the fact that claimants will need to be supported ie Using a stick or crutch or requiring a wheelchair,or unable to walk at all without these supports to be able to claim motability at the higher rate.Just cannot find the link that led to this information as dir gov only gives a broad outline with no information as to how your motability needs are.to claim.

There was also a mention of the fact that people with skeletal mobility may be affected .Think as I have searched and cannot find it. I am beginning to think I have imagined the article. .
