Hi Kedaco
Well done for getting ESA awarded at Appeal!. No mean feat. Did you do this with the help of the CAB ?. If you did they are automatically sent a letter giving details of your award. As this was in March you should have heard from them by now. Might be worth ringing the CAB After the Easter Break and they'd be able to sort it out for you especially as I don't suppose the DWP have started paying you yet?. Hope I've helped and you get it sorted soon.X
It can take 4-6 weeks to get your backdated money. If you have your decision notice (they usually give this to you at the end of the hearing, but they also might have posted it to you afterwards) you can take it to your local Jobcentre and try and hassle them, but I would recommend trying an advice agency as they will have better contacts. The usual process is that you have to wait, they give your backdated money in a lump sum, and from there onwards they will pay you the correct money. Don't lose your decision notice. The tribunal clerk should have sent a copy to the DWP immediately after the hearing but there are rare occasions when it goes astray.
Thank you for your reply I did get my decision notice a couple of days later and have showed it to the advisers at the job centre who gave me a phone number to ring for ESA who said I have to wait for the ESA who deals with the tribunal awards so wait I will but I will go to the CAB if I don't hear something soon.
