Hi rlupus, I too have been struggling with Chronic fatigue since November I haven't been able to go to work this year yet. But this week things have started to improve, yes I struggled for 1 1/2 hours to remember when and why I had been using the glue but the fatigue has started to improve. I bought a book called The Lupus Recovery Diet by Jill Harrington because I decided that I had nothing to lose. It is very strict but I am seeing the benefits.

Hello rlupus

The Fatigue is a puzzle and the best you can do is to accept it and try to manage it.

Fighting really really doesn't work. Muscle cramps and weakness can be caused or made worse by CK a muscle bi-product and taking Co Enzyme Q10 can help this.

Keep warm and dont allow yourself to get hungry. Carry food in your pockets Nuts are very good as are most dried fruits such as figs or apricots.

Meditation or relaxation will help with the mental fatigue and fogging.

And don't beat yourself up over this. It is what it is, the future is not yet written so dont try to second guess it.

This illness can be very isolating, but it doesnt have to be now we have the internet, we all know what you are going through. Good luck.

Acceptance is the key to emotional wellbeing. I remember saying to someone when I was in the depths of my illness, " I would be furious if I had the strength".
