What does this mean?

5 days ago, I was just falling asleep when I was woken up by a vibration in my head. It literally felt and sounded like my phone vibrating on the table but it was in my head. It hurt me at the time, and since then I have had a headache/ migraine. I am sensitive to light, quick movement brings on the head pain and pain killers do not help. I am a little bit worried as to what the vibration was and the after effects I am having, can someone try explain this to me?

I've had similar vibrating/pulsing and my consultant has sent me for an MRI and my GP has referred me to ENT. Good luck and let me know how you get on.
