What does this mean please

Hi All

I had my appointment with a consultant yesterday. Was very rushed first time speaking to him so didnt have a chance to ask for more detail on this so hoping you guys can help me. He said my lupus is quiet at the moment. Can any one help me understand this please?

I think he means you are not showing any active symptoms, they are not causing a problem, .

Oh that does confuse me as i feel like i have symptoms x

He probably means that the autoimmune disease activity is low and so you don't have much in the way of lupus-associated problems.

I am guessing you are not feeling that great and this is confusing. Probably as what seems to happen a lot, the labs aren't matching up with your symptoms. Then most doctors think you are doing all right. In my opinion, which means little, how we feel is more important than what the labs of the moment show. Take good care.

Thing is im feeling ok....not 100% though abit achy and stiff. They said they will monitor it and see me again in 4 weeks. It is veey confusing
