Does anyone recommend an insurance company that provides reasonable insurance cover. I wish to travel to Dubai for 7 days. I have been quoted £740.00 for the week.
I look forward to hearing from you and I wish you all the best on your journey.

Found insure with very helpful and also chatting possible questions through with Roy Castle help line before ringing them. Will ask lots of specific questions and I found it useful to have dates and medical info available.Good Luck we are off on a cruise next week.
I am an insurance broker and have experienced difficulty myself trying to find cover at a decent cost. I have used a company called "insurance with" for recent trips, the forms online are very detailed but well worth the effort, if you can't get a quote online you can call them. You can find them at insurancewith.com
Insurewith seems to be the one but I can’t get insurance with them, so when I go away I make sure I have enough money in my account to get home first class if needed! Thankfully I haven’t needed it, but that’s my insurance policy as I can’t get one. I also use admiral for travel but that won’t cover anything cancer related. X
often depends on where you're going ,how you're travelling (cruises cost more), for how long, the state of your cancer and what treatment you've had and other conditions you may have too - I've found different companies cheaper for different destinations so just because Saga might be cheaper for one area as an example, they might be the most expensive for another. I use Payingtoomuch.com, insure cancer.com, insurance with, Covercloud, medical travel compared, Allclear, Allianz and others.... if you fail to declare conditions it can make the entire policy null and void.... with lung cancer, it's often not the risk of cancer itself but the changed atmospheric conditions/temperatures, humidity etc that can risk respiratory conditions requiring hospitalisation or Medical-evacuation that bumps it up... and many lung cancer patients also have COPD or similar conditions. having said that I've travelled extensively from 2016 (decided it was just too expensive for the first 5 years - diagnosed January 2011) for work and leisure and always managed to get cover but also looked at quotes before booking a holiday. good luck.
