My EGFR adenocarcinoma exon 19 lung cancer is currently in remission after chemo radiation/ wedge resection and adjuvant chemo. Last treatment in June 2020.
I have been following Tagrisso for adjuvant treatment. It has now been approved for that purpose in the USA. Does have side effects and right now I’m feeling quite good.
Working with my oncologist but wanted input from healthunlocked Friends.

Dear Beepers7It is good to hear that you are feeling well and in remission. This has not been approved for adjuvant treatment in the UK and have detailed its licensed use below.
Tagrisso (Osimertinib) is approved for use for advanced EGFR T790M non-small cell lung cancer, if there has been disease progression after 1st line treatment. This is accessed through the patient access scheme (where the drug company will lower the cost for the individual to access this through the NHS, and the drug is in the cancer drug fund from NICE)

Thank you for your reply and offer to call or email. I meet with my oncologist January 22. I will post the outcome.Thank you all for your work in Lung cancer.
