Tagrisso

I was wondering if there is anyone on here that, like myself, is receiving targeted therapy with a drug called Tagrisso?

With Tagrisso we are unable to take anti-inflammatories, only panado 's which are not very effective against this pain. My oncologist had me stop Tagrisso for 14 days...there was a very small improvement.

Anyhow, now I am on Tagrisso. Which is treating me well enough, some dry skin, some upset tummy but really it's going well. In our last meeting, my oncologist discussed adding chemo with Carboplatin and pemetrexed to (possibly) extend the effectiveness of the Tagrisso.

Hi I just found out I will be starting on Tagrisso, anyone else on this? What are your side effects?

I started Tagrisso immediately (targeted treatment), followed by radiation for the brain tumors, and then followed chemotherapy. I am a 57 year-old, non-smoker and extremely healthy.

My symptoms are nail problems and thinning hair from Tagrisso. I asked my Consultant what future plan is he said keep taking tablets. I asked him at my last consultation if I come off tablets would cancer come back, he said it can come back with or without tablets.

I am concered about the side effects and toxicity if I am do get Tagrisso and then have to stop it in 3 years just to have the effectiveness (assuming no recurrence) reduced to pre drug levels.

did say that Tagrisso dose cannot be amended so not suitable, I nodded at the time but now unsure if that seems odd?

Hi, I have stage 4 cancer diagnosed in May 2021, I have been taking Tagrisso since July 2021 and apart from a really bad skin reaction in the first weeks have tolerated it really well, just a few minor side effects .

Hi all, I first signed up to this support group when my Mum was diagnosed NSCLC in 2018, she sadly passed away in 2021 after trying Iressa (~1yr), chemo (~1yr), and Tagrisso (~10m).

I had a three week course of radiation and just started Tagrisso two days ago. All my joints are sore. Hopefully, this side effect will ease.

I have been taken off Tagrisso so with nothing at the moment. Very scary. At the meeting with a Marsden doctor the were sort of saying that all I could do was to cross my fingers. They didn't seem to hold out much hope for BLU. I should point out that I dont have insurance.

hi there Iv been on tagrisso for over a year now with no side affects The last few weeks Iv been really constipated and vomiting Last night I did manage to go but 5 minutes later was sick I’m losing weight now has anybody suffered with this on this medication ?

(He does have a history of BPH and experienced urinary urgency soon after starting on Tagrisso.) Much appreciate any insights. 🙏🌺

I started on Tagrisso pretty soon afterward and am still on it. I had an upper left lung lobectomy and a wedge resection of the lower lobe to remove the primary tumor, as well as 14 lymph nodes (2 were positive) Dec 2021.

I have been on Tagrisso for just 6 1/2 weeks and because I have a rare EGFR mutation which has no viable study on the outcomes, the oncologists wants to assess the efficacy of the treatment asap in case I have to change treatment.

Hi Community: My father has been on Tagrisso for nearly a year now. And he's experienced dermatologic toxicity such as pimples and fissures on his finger tips. Lately though, he's had two ingrown toenails which he's never had before. He's going back to the podiatrist for tx.

Started on OSIMERTINIB ( Tagrisso ). I was recently diagnosed with stage 4 NSCLC in May 2022 with Mets to diaphram and pleural both lungs. Checking if there is anyone on this treatment and how they are getting along. Thank you Kasuku

Iv just broken my tooth and Iv read that I need to check with oncologist before I get dental work done Has anybody been to dentist while on tagrisso ? Thanks
