Severe nausea after radiotherapy

My radiotherapy treatment for an Oesophagas tumour was completed about 4/5 weeks ago and now I have continual nausea which is seriously affecting my appetite. I have almost reached the point where I can only take nourishment drinks (smoothies). My current antisickness medication doesn’t seem to help.

Would appreciate any helpful advice to manage this, and an indication of how long this may last.

Thanks

There are many different types of nausea pills. If one doesn’t work ask your doctor to try a different one. While waiting to hear back some form of ginger may help:tea or cookies. Also sucking on a thin slice if ginger gives me relief sometimes.
