Hi Margaret, fingers crossed it will all run smoothly for you, cant imagine how it feels to have to face surgery again, did you have open surgery first time around ?

Hi,

I too hope it goes smoothly, im more nervous now than before, maybe because I know what to expect, last time I had 2 wedge sections with VATS and that was painful enough, but this time its open surgery on the same lung which I know is more painful .

all the best &

take care

Thank you,

I thought I would just concentrate on my surgery then

yesterday I got a phone called to see the oncologist today, so spent most of today there, he was very nice and explained in detail about my cancer I was told I would need 12 weeks of chemo after the surgery (3 weeks of 4 cycles) I have an appointment in 4 weeks to discuss starting this depending how I feel after the surgery, the tumor in my left lung they will treat possibility with radiotherapy at a later date not really looking forward to all this never mind all sent to try us.

best wishes

Margaret.
