Surgery on Friday

I finally got word yesterday that my lung surgery is tomorrow, I am still stressed out with all the delays but trying to stay calm, I have to be at the hospital at 7.15am and I am first on list, wish me luck.

We are all sending you our good wishes and positive thoughts for tomorrow. The last few weeks have not been easy for you. Stress is not easy to manage, some people find breathing exercises or a relaxation CD useful.

Glad you are at least first on the list. Hope you have some rest tonight, do something nice to distract yourself if you can.

You're lucky to be able to go in early morning, I had to go in the night before which meant that I didn't get any sleep at all through the night - what with worrying and being in hospital at the same time I wasn't able to drop off even for an hour or so.

It will be sorted for you and you'll be back home in no time I'm sure.

Thanking all of you for the good wishes, I am lucky to be first on the list, I agree excavator there is nothing worse then waiting to go down and worse if you go in the day before, I will let you know how things go.

Thank you all for your good wishes it really means a lot, sorry for not replying sooner to each of you but just got out of hospital late Thursday and to be honest today is my best day so things are improving I have just wanted to sleep I have got a chest infection but that seems a lot better now, anyway hope you guys are keeping well, keep smiling, love to all
