I have decided to do another update as there are a lot of things going on with me lately!! I am 47 years old first diagnosed two years ago with NSCLC adnocarcenoma. I have started my keytruda treatments. That is going pretty good. I just am tired a few days after the treatment. I have had a breast scan which located a few lumps in both breasts. The oncologist is going to schedule a biopsy to check further into that. I had a head MRI done this past Thursday which revealed that I have a lesion about 2 cm in the brain. This is the scariest of issues. It is causing swelling in the brain and will need to be radiated immediately. I have been put on a high dose of steroids to reduce swelling and will need cyber knife surgery to remove the lesion. I am meeting with the radiology oncologist Monday. I am really scared about this. This will be fast tracked due to the severity of the issue. I have a PET scan scheduled this Friday by the GI doctor and my oncologist. This is for the repeated stomach issues that I have been dealing with. I will follow up with them both after I have the scan to see what the next move is with the stomach, but I believe it is a colonoscopy. I am currently in three different medicines to try to control the stomach aches and none of them are working 100%. I am still being denied for Medicaid, so a lot more has been coming out of my pocket for prescriptions, doctors visits, tests, and premiums. This has been very hard so I hope that fund raiser that my sister is working on really helps because lord knows I need it. Sorry that I don't have better news but I am trying to stay positive so please pray for me 🙏❤️🙏❤️
I love you all
Laura
