Good morning all. My first post. Was originally diagnosed in December 2009. They removed my upper and middle lobe of my right lung. Did four months of chemo after that. Diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma in December of 2015. Large tumor removed, followed up with another four months of chemo and four rounds of radiation. New spot found on my lung in September 2016. Waiting for surgery date, sometime in late January.

Recurring Lung Cancer
You've really been through a lot! I pray your surgery goes well. Please keep us informed.
I have found this sight to be encouraging and informative. God bless you.
I am so sorry that you have to go through this again. Sending you a big hug and know that you are in my thoughts. Let us know how you are doing.
dolfimn90805, Wow, you have been through a lot. Do they think that the new spot in your lung is a recurrence of lung cancer, or a met from the lymphoma? Sending best hopes for a successful surgery.
Anita
Thank you for joining us, you have been through so much. I hope you find some ease here with this wonderful group of people. Welcome!
Welcome to the FtB lung cancer boards. Very sorry that you have experienced this progression. Please consider getting a second opinion while you await the surgery. Dr David Carbone at the James Cancer Center at Ohio State in Columbus.
The reason I recommend him is that he is a lymphoma survivor whose disease was first suspected lung cancer.
As director of the Thoracic Center at OSUCCC he specializes in lung cancer. He is/was the president of the International Assn for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC).
He's addressed several of the educational seminars I've attended and he talks to the patient as a person not the disease.
dolfin90805 I was just wondering how you were doing. Were you able to have the surgery? Sending positive thoughts your way.
