Hi all!!! I was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer just about a year ago the beginning of April. Thought my allergies were acting up but my sat was in the 80's; I ended up in the ED for a workup; and ended up admitted on a heparin drip because of several clots in both my lungs! The subsequent stay and workup found the cancer and so the fight began. Since diagnosis I have been on several different chemo drugs and am currently on Tafinlar which is an oral drug I take twice a day. To date, the last PET scan showed reduction in tumor size: I am schedueled for another scan on 5/11 and I pray for the best and for the strength to continue to fight whatever lies ahead for me. Thanks to all my family and friends for the tremendous support and love you have all shown me. Updates will continue here. I pray for my fellow fighters.......onward with heads up all!!!! We can do this!!!!!
