My Cancer is Active Again

I returned on 12/6 to Johns Hopkins for my 3rd - 3 month followup. I have inoperable stage 3B NSCLC. At that time the Cat Scan showed abnormalities in the lower left lung. Because the original cancer is in the upper left lung, they ordered a biopsy and PET Scan. The PET Scan was inconclusive as far as the new mass but showed that I still have double pneumonia which I have been fighting since September.

Wednesday afternoon, my oncologist called to let me know she had received the pathology report from 12/12. Because of the location of the original tumor, the doctors were unable to biopsy the lower lung but did take a biopsy of the original cancer.

The pathology report showed that the original cancer is active. I am scheduled to return to JHH on 1/12, to meet with a team of doctors to determine my treatment from here. I know radiation will not be an option as I have already received all the radiation that can be administered to this tumor.

I am asking all of you to pray, if you will, that God's Will be done for me. I have a loving supportive family and I know God's goodness and mercy endureth forever.

God bless each of you.

Ruthie, I'm sorry that you have to deal with some difficult news. Sending best hopes that your medical team will have some good options for you - and that you can get a handle on that pesky pneumonia so that you have access to the broadest range of options.

Deep from my heart I pray, there is a solution that will resolve your tumours, they no longer are active, they are not able to spread.

Oh my dear god, please give each and everyone that's suffering this disease, the ultimate cure, strength and endurance with a long long life full of health.

Ameen.🙏

My prayers are with you my friend. On my 3rd 3 month check my cancer also can back. I did radiation and chemo. Keep the faith there is still alot to fight for and win. Check out exercise and eating right. No sugar. No processed foods. Check out natural ways to beat cancer that won't harm your body. There are lots. I do believe there are natural healings. The biggest are eat, exercise, and POSSITIVE THINKING! Try to watch stress level I know that is very hard. I struggle with that too! God bless you! I do believe this is just a bump in the road for you. 😇
