So I was doing fine... then I had a misscarriage I suffer massively from health anxiety and this has topped me over the edge, misscarriage was all sorted everything passed had scans etc at hospital, 5 weeks down the line, I had my period and started suffering with groin pain which I suffered with when I was pregnant too was nearly 12 week, but this last week I've had my period and been having this groin pain and my side is tight I went to the docs and he checked me over, said it's a uti or a womb infection as symptoms are mixed between them, so given me antibiotics to treat both even said it might be a muscular pull too, where I've been exercising but guess what here I am worrying and looking through google... literally at wits end feel like I'm going to drive myself crazy I wish I could stop xx

Hello :-)

I am so sorry to hear about your miscarriage :-(

I am not surprised your Health Anxiety has reared it's ugly head and I can imagine you have been going through all sorts of emotions to

I had my Health Anxiety under control in a fashion and I got pneumonia last year and ever since it has spiralled out of control and I just don't seem to be able to stop !

Like you I have Googled and we both know that is the worse thing we could possibly do , why do we do it I ask myself , it will tell us the worse scenario ever even though it does not have our medical notes or can examine us yet we go back to it as if we are trying to find what ?

So please keep of it , your Doctor is the only one that can tell you what is going of and Google will tell you what is NOT happening

Make yourself a plan

Take the meds ( they should settle things down )

If and it is a big "If" they don't then tell yourself it won't be life threatening but maybe a trip back to the Doctors and a referral to the gynecologist might be needed , but that is the worse scenario that could happen and they would not find anything seriously wrong they would just know how to stop this problem you are having that's all :-)

When all this has settled down and it will if you are still struggling , don't allow it to get the better of you get back to the Doctors again and ask for some Counselling

I hopefully am going to start some in the next few weeks :-)

If you need to talk you know where we are :-)

Take Care x

I am the same , I have developed a pain in my lower back , it hurts so much all day and then at night eases

Wait for those meds to kick in they can take several days and please keep of Google trust me I know it has not got the answers to your problem your Doctor has though :-) x
