Hi does anyone ever experience anxiety pressure in the head? Feel like you have a tight rubber band around your head and it gives you a fainting feeling. I went to the hospital everything comes back negative. I feel so alone in this.

Head pressure
Hello
This is what I call tension headache as when I am anxious I feel that rubber band feeling
Try and be reassured that all the tests you have had have been ok and no doubt this is your anxiety , the less importance you give it the fewer you will feel it and eventually they may go altogether or at least be less
Take Care x
Alright thank you 🙏🏾
Sounds like a tension headache Beth. I know it’s hard, but u need to try and relax your body and mind. I use rescue remedy to help me chill.
Is that a tea? And mines stays for days because I freak out about it .
It comes in a small bottle. U spray twice on ur tongue and it relaxes u. U can buy it in any supermarket. Hope that’s helpful.
Yes thank you
Hi Bethanie. I deal with this almost every day. When I'm engaged in something I'm fine, but when my brain is free to run, it gets real bad. Amitriptyline has helped in the past but has stopped working well lately.
I feel this all the time for over a year and a half, lots of neuro symptoms to. Pressure is so bad in the back of my head and then moves through the entire head. MRA MRI ok waiting eeg result for routine one and then I’ll have a three day one. The pressure doesnt stop and I get some relief if I lay completely flat, but the moment I wake up and get on my feet it starts right up and stays and I feel it get tighter pressure wise and I feel like I am going to faint and my brain and skull are closing in on each other. Even the bones in my face start hurting. OTC stuff doesn’t work and I’ve tried fioricet and that didn’t work. I do tho now but it is scary and difficult to get through the day. Hope you find something that works for you and wish the docs could figure this all out and get some kind of relief.
Thank you so much, it’s getting better 🙏🏾 and your words helps because I know I’m not alone.
Bethanie17 so glad it is getting better what has been helping you if you don’t mind me asking?
I’ve been going out more like go to the park for a walk,or the mall because I’ve notice the more i stay in bed or home, the worst it got, I just do activities to keep my kind of it ... and when it gets really bad I take an aleve pill, I go to sleep then I wake up feeling better. And also I talk to husband and friends about it and they make me feel better by Kelli he me company.
