I am having such a hard time with my anxiety and depression. I feel so manic in my thoughts and actions every day. Trying to make major life changes and make it though the day. One minute I feel strong like I can do anything and the next minute I don’t know how I’m going to make it through the next minute. I’m so scared of talking to my friends about it because I think that they are going to think I’m to much work to have as a friend and then I won’t have anybody to talk to. Found a support group that I’m going to start going to and hoping that will help. Also seeing that I’m not the only person Going through these ups and downs. Don’t know if I can do this on my own. Anybody else out there that feels like they are stranded on an island and there is nobody around or anything to see to look forward to?

Daily living with anxiety and depression
Yes I have since November and been a horrific storm , and I reached out to doctor and seen several people regarding what's best therapy etc
I have now been put on mirtazapine and hoping this will help my anxiety and awaiting a PTSD course , had different therapies in my life but not this its all about trying to keep yourself safe and do what's right for you
And most of all ensure u tell yourself each day you are a wonderful person and that you ar a born warrior and don't be afraid to talk
Hidden,
Good for you for seeking a support group and support on this site! You are definitely not the only person going through this and it can get better. None of us are meant to walk through life on our own. We are meant to bear each other's burdens which is what is happening right now and in your support group. Don't be afraid to share this with your friends. If they are your friends, their love will shine through and will walk with you every step of this journey. Those that leave you...consider it a blessing to have your current challenges serve as a filter for those that do not deserve to be called a friend.
What are the things you consider accomplishments in your major changes so far?
