I get this quite a lot, it seems a vicious circle. I panic or get anxious I might feel vaguely sick and then wham, I feel really nauseous and I can't kick it. I do have some antisickness pills, that sometimes work for a short time. But generally it makes my life a misery, because I have emetiphobia, everything is doubled...

I also seem to swallow a lot of air, aerophagia I read that it's called, apparently it is common in people who are anxious. This doesn't help!!

Hi i can relate to that nauseous feeling sometimes but mist times i dry wretch. Terrible symptoms also i take in a lot of air always have very uncomfortable at times untill it comes back out. Don't know what the answer is but just know that you are not alone.

If it's common in people who have anxiety, then at least you know you are not alone! and you also have an explanation for why you are feeling a certain way. Therefore you can try and reduce it because you know where it is coming from.

Do you often feel bloated after an aerophagia episode?

I would suggest speaking to a doctor to see if your doctor could give you something to reduce the symptoms and ease the discomfort.

Hope you are doing well today :)
