Does anyone het nerve pain through stress/anxiety? I have had some personal stress just lately and my anxiety and stress levels went through the roof and I am left with what can only be described as nerve pain (tingling, burning etc) it’s really worried me so I just wanted to know if anyone has experiences similar? Thank you!

Oh yes me every day for 3 years. Tingling arms and legs strange sensations through body. Head that never feels normal. Sometimes i wish it was all over very hard t o do things at times.
Thanks for replying! Yes I ve had some bizarre symptoms which have been really scary. I had a very stressful few months and can only put it down to that. I hope you find relief fro your symptoms soon 😞
I get this sort of pain since starting meds for high bp.I get a sense of anxiety for no apparent reason and then it starts. It can last for the whole say.Went to A&E twice as some of the pain was over my chest but no cause was found.I really sympathise with you.
Thanks for replying...it’s really freaked me out and put my health anxiety through the roof. I m on Amitriptyline now which is definitely helping...just hope it calms everything down as I don’t want to be on that forever! 😕
I was put on 10mg for back, neck and shoulder pain/tension. It certainly did help, but I couldn't wake up in the mornings, so I cut the tablet in half and took only 5mg, but still felt really drowsy when I woke, this really freaked me out, so I stopped taking it, and consequently back came the unbearable pain.
My question is, do you suffer the drowsiness, how do you cope, should I have taken it really early in the evening? I was taking it about 9pm.
Yes it certainly makes you drowsy but i found it takes a few weeks to get used to it and for it to really start working properly (6 weeks for me!).
I started on 10mg and got a bit impatient as wasn’t feeling any different so jumped up to 20mg which made me feel a bit ‘out of it’ for a few days and then I went up to 30mg....impatient again!! 🙈 And with every increase felt a bit weird/spaced out but now feel absolutely fine and in actual fact it makes me sleep well at night. I take it about 8pm (by 10pm I m ready to sleep!!) but if you are still drowsy in the morning maybe try early evening? I think it’s a bit of trial and error with what suits you. Hope that helps?! 😊
Thank you for that, Gosh 30 mg, think I'd be out for the count with that!
Thing is the drowsiness was freaking me out, as I suffer with an unbalanced feeling because of all my muscle tension anyway. And I am one of these people who doesn't like to take pills, which doesn't help.
But I am going to try again, and take it a bit earlier.
Ha ha! I know, I m the same when it comes to medication but then I thought ‘I ve had enough!’ So just took them! 🤣🙈😳 honestly, stick with them! Good luck 😊
