Can tinnitus/Eustachian tube dysfunction be brought on by clenching your jaw? I can't seem to move my jaw up and down and it sometimes hurts. When I wake up in the morning I've seen to have bitten my gums at the front. Can this cause constant ringing in the ears as well as ear pain? Doesn't seem like I'm clenching my jaw.

Hello

I get tinnitus and I also clench my jaw which can cause dental issues over time not sure if it is anything to do with tinnitus though

I know it makes your jaw ache and you get that used to doing it you stop noticing you are until you start getting pain but if you are clenching it that bad I would go and see my Dentist , one thing they can do and not sure how you would feel about it is make you are mouth guard which would stop you grinding you teeth which I would imagine you are doing as well as clenching your jaw and making your gums so sore , let them have a look they will be able to see what you are doing and if it is or could cause any issues

Take Care x

That's fascinating! I have constant ringing in my ear and I do often catch myself clenching my jaw. Keep us updated and I'll let you know if I learn anything as well!

Tinnitus is nothing to do with your jaw clenching

That's actually not true. Tinnitus can be caused by TMJ.
