Was a lovely post wishing everyone a nice weekend , at the moment I do get very despondent when I see no replies to such a lovely sentiment , lets hope it is because people have not logged on and will later :-)

I appreciate your post and picture made me smile to know you are feeling so happy at the moment :-) x

I thought my posts might attract animal lovers but maybe they have had enough of my Smokey’s pictures lol.

This site certainly has had more response in the last couple of weeks don’t you think?

If it wasn’t for you it would probably shut down, I admire you. x

I thought your post might attract people to come on and talk :-D

Sometimes I think the site starts moving and then the next minute it seems to come to a full stop again :-o

Thank you for your comment but I am only trying to get it moving in the hope I could may be then take a back seat , would be a shame if it did shut down as it is a nice quite little site where people can post about their anxiety issues but because it is quite we also can have more lighthearted posts like yours where we really get to know each other better but we do need more using it for it to work so fingers crossed :-) x

Oh so pleased you have your lovely Smokey home ~he looks a little tinker ~a cheeky look on his face!! He's probably so pleased to see his Mam.You have a wonderful time with him ( I bet you spoil him rotten) Enjoy!!😊xx

I will try to, got work but it isn’t too bad working in a garden centre but bonus is takeaway weekend. Got rid of my Fitbit so can’t check my pulse as that was making my anxiety worse. Hope you have a good weekend.

Hello Hidden

O that would be my ideal job I love flowers and plants I am garden mad , in fact just planted two winter planters yesterday :-)

And takeaway weekend sounds good :-)

Now I think it is a positive thing you did getting rid of your Fitbit , well done you should feel so proud :-)

Reason you will be feeling more anxious is because you have done something that your anxiety did not want you to do

It wanted you to keep checking your pulse so it could keep a hold of you and frighten you if the reading was not as you expected so now it knows you have got rid it will try and play with you to get you to give in and get another one , but stay strong you don't need it , pulses read different depending how we feel what we are doing and so on and by taking your pulse every day it will be up and down and all over the place

Only time we need are pulse taking is if the Doctor wants to take it to check it :-)

So every time you start to feel anxious because you can't take your pulse tell yourself it is anxiety and you are going to show it this time you are stronger , breaking habits is hard but with willpower we can do it and if you want to we are hear if you feel you want to talk so come on when you need to :-)

Take Care x

Hey, Yeah every time I go doctors they check it, it’s high cause I am anxious but otherwise fine and if they aren’t concerned about it, neither should I be and checking it was just making me unwell as if it got too high I’d end up giving myself a panic attack and then end up with physical symptoms worse for days such as body tremors and noticing my heart beat again. Thank you x

You are spot on !

If the Doctors are not concerned and they are the professionals then no neither should you be :-)

Pulse will always be higher when we take it and feel anxious , but your pulse is not everything that has to be taken into account when a Doctor decides if there is reason to be concerned and that is what your Doctor will have done taken all your medical history into account and come up with this pulse is fine :-)

You will be fine to just try and start to believe that no matter what that anxiety tries to tell you :-) x
