Hi! I have had ITP for the last 6 months. I am recently suffering from excessive hair fall. I don't have a bald spot but my hair fall is out of control. I have been taking Revolade 75mg daily for the past 4 months. I have also taken various immunosuppressants like IVIG, Rituximab and Prednisolone. This hair fall is completely normal, so don't worry. I found using soaking fenugreek seeds in water and spraying that water helps a lot. Try using Himalaya Anti Hair Fall Shampoo. It really helps.
I just realized that this was posted 4 years ago. Please give us an update on your hair fall. It really gives people like me a lot of hope.
Thank you,
Lots of wishes for your recovery.

Hi Betty. I’m happy to report (in January 2022) that my hair loss has become a lot less. I still have to take 50mg/day Revolade as that’s what it seems to take to keep my platelets at an acceptable count. But I think what has helped is taking a daily Biotin tablet (10,000microgm) and to not be afraid of giving my hair a gentle but thorough brush every night and morning.
Gabriella I had a problem with hair loss by the handfuls a number of years ago. I started taking folic acid daily and over time (30 years) my hair has stopped falling out except after surgeries or Traumatic injuries on my body. As long as I continue taking folic acid my hair is staid cool. This is not a scientific study. It is just my personal experience. Hope you figure it it.
Hi, my hair used to fall out but then I did some research and this vitamin I take is called Borage Oil- two gel caplets a day and I no longer have that problem. Just a suggestion.
